Jackie Azúa Kramer

Jackie is an award-winning and internationally translated children’s book author with a master’s in counseling in Education. She has published over a dozen picture books including: THE GREEN UMBRELLA; THE BOY AND THE GORILLA; I WISH YOU KNEW; MANOLO AND THE UNICORN; EMPANADAS FOR EVERYONE; RHYTHM and BOOGIE IN THE BRONX. Jackie’s books have been honored as Bank Street Best Children’s Book of the Year and Bank Street Best Children’s Books in Spanish. A Junior Library Guild Gold Selection. A Parents’ Magazine Book Pick and Chicago Public Library “Best of the Best Books”. Winner of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators Crystal Kite award.
