Denis Markell

DENIS MARKELL has been a playwright, composer/lyricist and has written for several sitcoms. He co-wrote a play with Joan Rivers. However, the credit that seems to impress people the most is that he wrote an episode of Thundercats. He wrote two picture books illustrated by his wife Melissa Iwai: The Great Stroller Adventure and Hush, Little Monster (starred review, Publisher’s Weekly). A lifelong resident of Brooklyn Heights, he lives in a small apartment with his wife and their possibly demonically possessed Shiba Inu named Nikki. His novel Click Here To Start) was a Junior Library Guild Selection and an Amazon Best Book of the Month. Followed by The Game Masters Of Garden Place, The Ghost In Apartment 2R and The Final Cut , which the NY Times picked as one of its eleven books to give students starting middle school.
