Christy Mihaly
Christy Mihaly is the award-winning author of more than forty books for young readers. She writes primarily nonfiction, covering topics from hayfields to food to free speech. Her two newest books are about American History and the renowned Spanish cellist Pablo Casals. Christy also loves writing poetry, and her poems have been published in many magazines and anthologies. She enjoys visiting schools and community groups to share ideas about writing, creativity, and civic engagement. She lives in Vermont, where she enjoys walking in the woods and playing cello (though not simultaneously).
